A building that keeps memory .
The Provincial Historical Archive of Pontevedra was a competition commission — a proposal for a building meant to safeguard the documentary memory of the province. Our commission was to visualise that proposal with the weight it deserved.
The challenge was respect. Rebuilding in 3D an architecture with heritage weight calls for the same care one gives to something that already holds history. The images had to convey that the project understands what it keeps: an archive is not just any building, and its visualisation could not be either.
