Dignity in social housing .
42 VPO is a development of public-protection housing in Alcobendas. Our commission was its visualisation — to show that affordable housing deserves the same care in its imagery as any other project.
The challenge was to convey quality without artifice. The images had to tell an honest architecture, well thought out and pleasant to live in, far from the grey cliché that so often accompanies social housing. We worked each one so that the project read as what it is: a dignified home.
